Terms of Service

By creating an account or using The Growth Rig, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: support@thegrowthrig.com.

1. What the service is

The Growth Rig ("The Growth Rig," "we," "us," "our") is a growth system for local service businesses. We build and continuously improve your website and online presence — which may include search visibility (Google, Google Maps, AI search), reviews, content, referrals, and reporting — as described on www.thegrowthrig.com. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure.

3. Free trial, pricing, and billing

• Plan and price: one plan at $99/month, month-to-month, plus any applicable taxes.
• Free trial: activation starts a 1-month free trial with full functionality (every capability, nothing withheld). We collect a payment method at activation; your first charge is on day 30 unless you cancel before then.
• Cancellation: cancel anytime, self-serve, with no phone call and no exit fees. Cancel before day 30 and you pay nothing. After that, the plan is month-to-month; you may cancel before any renewal, and access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
• Domain: a custom domain is included in your subscription. You own your domain; if you cancel, your domain is yours to keep and transfer, and your content is exportable.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to the payment processor's terms.

4. Your content and ownership

• You own your content — the business information, materials, and the website content produced for your business — and your domain (§3).
• You grant us the license needed to host, build, operate, improve, and display your site and presence while you use the service, including through our service providers.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any materials you provide and that your content is lawful.

5. Previews built from public information

We may prepare a preview website for a business using publicly available information before that business signs up. Claiming a preview creates an account subject to these Terms. We do not publish unverifiable sensitive claims (such as licensing, insurance, or years in business) until the business owner confirms them. To claim, correct, or request removal of a preview, email support@thegrowthrig.com. (See the Privacy Policy §4.)

6. Our content commitments

We build from real, verified information about your business and your area, and a person reviews a site before it goes live. We do not fabricate reviews, credentials, or claims.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: violating law; infringing others' rights; uploading false, deceptive, or unlawful content; attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access; or using the service to send unlawful communications.

8. Third-party platforms

The service interacts with third-party platforms (such as search engines, listing and review platforms, and payment and communication providers). We don't control those platforms, and their availability, policies, and results are not guaranteed by us.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to improve your visibility and lead flow, but we do not guarantee specific results (such as particular rankings, traffic, calls, estimates, or revenue), which depend on factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Growth Rig is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may cancel anytime (§3). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law, with notice where required. On termination, your content remains exportable and your domain is yours.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
